Régis Meuret

Regis Meuret is an electrical engineer with over 40 years of international experience in the field. He began his career as a motor control solution development engineer for industrial applications at Jeumont Schneider and Jeumont Industrie, where he developed solutions for submarine and wind turbine propulsion. Regis then moved into the aerospace sector, working at Thales and later Safran on power network and thrust reverser control studies. This new direction involved leading technological research towards increased electrical efficiency and the search for innovative solutions for both the electrical chain and the power electronics, with the goal of reducing size and extending lifespan. This research was conducted in close partnership with the research and industry communities. Since his retirement, Regis has continued his activities, focusing on the reliability of new SiC semiconductor technologies, and participates in and leads various working groups in France and internationally. Régis is involved in monitoring and state-of-the-art missions for Vauban 128 in power electronics.
