Pierre Conesa
Expert in Economic Intelligence and Geostrategy
A graduate of the École Nationale d'Administration (ENA) with a degree in History (1980-1982), Pierre Conesa lectured at Paris VII University, served as an administrative judge, and then worked at the Ministry of Defense, where he held positions in all areas of the DAS (Directorate of Administrative Services), DRM (Directorate of Military Resources), and DGA (Directorate General of Armaments). He notably served as Deputy Director of the Strategic Affairs Delegation, also at the DGA, where he was in charge of export policy. In 2005, Pierre became CEO of CEIS (Compagnie Européenne d'Intelligence Stratégique), a position he left in 2011. In 2009, considered for the position of " Head of Economic Intelligence," he was deemed too close to economic intelligence providers , and the post was not filled. He authored the first strategic plan to support arms exports. He is a member of the Res Publica Foundation (Jean-Pierre Chevènement) and a lecturer at Sciences Po Paris. He is the founder and president of Homid, a company specializing in economic intelligence . In 2026, Pierre joined the Vauban 128 expert network.
