Jean-Claude Lenain

Jean-Claude Lenain holds a degree in Materials Physics from Centrale Nantes (1973) and a PhD in Fracture Mechanics , Composite Materials , and Acoustic Emission . He has extensive experience and expertise in the following areas: acoustic emission, in which he is a world expert; traditional and advanced Non-Destructive Testing ( NDT ) – Pressure Equipment, regulations , composite materials , damage mechanisms, materials physics (metals, ceramics, polymers, composites, etc.); equipment and structure monitoring ( SHM ); and process monitoring ( PHM ). He now joins the Materials & Processes expert pool at Vauban 128.
