Georges de Pelsemaeker

Georges de Pelsemaeker is a graduate of École Polytechnique (1987), holds a doctorate in applied sciences from the Louvain School of Engineering (1994), and also holds EBMA HEC (2007) and EXED Polytechnique (2026). He spent the majority of his career at VALEO, where he was Director of R&D and Innovation for automotive thermal systems . He is the author or co-author of some 165 patents and has received several international awards for his innovations. He is currently a Professor of Sustainable Innovation and a research associate at the University of Liège. Georges is heavily involved in supporting startups and deep tech companies in the areas of mobility , energy , and air quality, and collaborates on technological intelligence missions conducted by Vauban 128.
