Georges Cahuzac

Georges Cahuzac initially trained as an aerospace mechanical engineer and has a very long career in the defense industry . The INPI (French National Institute of Industrial Property) lists 61 patents for which he was the inventor or co-inventor. Today, as an independent researcher and inventor, he offers solutions for creating 3D woven preforms for RTM ( Reinforced Metal Technology), carbon-carbon , or ceramic composite parts. He has extensive experience in creating corresponding innovative machines. He has also developed fiber winding and placement machines, as well as assembly machines for creating complex preforms. After contributing to the efficiency of braiding machines, he is now leading a circular loom project that creates a multi-layered triaxial reinforcement around a mandrel, a true breakthrough in the state of the art. Georges is regularly called upon to provide expert opinions on composite materials after analyzing and evaluating scientific and technical information identified by Vauban 128 consultants.
